Quality Inn & Suites Port Lavaca near Lighthouse Beach

Absolutely Loved our stay!!! I loved it so much that my husband and I decided to extend our stay another night. From our first step into the office to book our room, everyone made sure to meet our expections. The gentleman at the first desk was very sweet and helpful. Once in the room I was immediately impressed. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room. (micro, fridge, coffee, iron, ironing board etc.) They offer a comfortable sitting area with a bar-b-que pit next to the pool. The hotel overlooks the ocean and is driving distance from restaurants and stores. There is a fishing pier and beach across the street that you will have to drive to but well worth it. The continental breakfast was just what I needed to get my morning started. I will highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff’s warmth and service made me feel truly valued. A stay I’ll cherish and gladly repeat.

The motel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room was neat and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find and close to shops and food places. Good stay for the price. I would stay here again.

We had a good experience here! Professional check-in, clean room, the receptionist even printed something for us. The breakfast was a little sparse (no bread?). Be aware that Port Lavaca is pretty lost and run down. Not a lot to see here. Across the street there is a beach though and you can walk a little bit.

Edit: 01/09/2026...Went back this past weekend for a New Years visit. I stay away without any problems or issues, the room was very comfortable and clean. The beds for the most relaxing, unfortunately no real breakfast at this location. Other then breakfast, great spot! Edit: 04/11....Received a very nice call from the general manager who explained what happened and was very apologetic. We agreed that lack of proper communication was going to be addressed and am changing my review. Will be going there again in the next 2 months and will be going back. That is the service you expect and receive. To begin with, if you are looking for elevators, look elsewhere. There are NONE HERE. The rooms are not bad, my family had multiple rooms with all but one having AC issues. The outside of the facility is aged, you can't be near the ocean without expectations of some signs of rust. The biggest issue was the gentleman who checked us in. Having a reservation for a handicap room, he went to say, "there are no guarantees on rooms, even with reservation." We have stayed and many Quality properties across the US and have NEVER been told that. He was rude and didn't want to hear that we needed what we asked for. Went ahead and took the hit and our family member just went home. That was upsetting. I will be following up with Quality corporate because this gentleman, who I believe was the owner, should not have access to the Quality name. Looking at other reviews, he must be the same one others have complained about. Will be avoiding this property from now on.

I had a really pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect—just steps away from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the beach and enjoy good service!

OMG what a gem! Nice location right by Lavaca Bay, staff so friendly & attentive. Even with magnet on door that didn't need anything was pleasantly surprised to find clean towels on our door - Thank You!! Will definitely stay again when in the area. King room with sofa bed was spacious & bed was super comfortable. Clean and wonderful place!

Clerk at the front desk was very courteous. Room is adequate. Nothing fancy. Great location!
